Description
Hosiden developed TYX1666/1667 Series, cable assemblies complying with HDMI Ver. 1.4a Standard for Automotive HDMI Cable specs. We have recently passed certification tests conducted by ATC (Authorized Testing Center).
φ4.5 thin cables have been adopted for easier wiring in-car when you use this product with Navigation System or RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment). While keeping good properties of data transmission like impedance matching, it has strong EMI (electromagnetic radiation noise)-adjusted shield structures, as well as features which automotive equipment need, such as ruggedness, resistance to shaking and shock.
Sample promotion has been started together with TCX3407, a receptacle, to automotive makers and car electronics makers.
Also, for those who need a length of more than 6.5m and over, as in the case of station wagons, we are developing products with thicker cables. For connection with HDMI-compliant mobile devices, we are developing cable assemblies complying with Automotive CE Relay Cable specs, too.
A new automotive item (Type E) has been added to the already mass-produced receptacles and cable assemblies: Type A for consumer use and Type C & D for mobile devices.
