Inspired by the below-ground shutter boxes used for utilities throughout Europe, Channell's new line of "Shutter Box" Series GLB boxes provide the highest performance standards and unique application options in the industry for thermoplastics subsurface enclosures. Featuring straight sidewalls, a high rib design, and various cover options, the shutter boxes maximize strength for cover load bearing capacity and sidewall deflection. They provide long-term performance, even in the harshest soil conditions and outperform all currently manufactured thermoplastic boxes and vaults available. These boxes are designed to comply with Western Underground Committee, ANSI / SCTE 77 2002 and Telcordia GR-902-CORE specifications.
