SEL-651R Advanced Recloser Control

The SEL-651R is an enhanced, high-quality control that provides advanced features to new and retrofit recloser applications. Six voltage inputs provide source- and load-side voltage sensing, ensuring safe and secure alternate source logic. Reduce system and customer impacts due to faults by using the single-phase trip capability. Improve feeder loading by using high-accuracy metering functions and harmonic control.

Easily power accessories with 40 W, 12 Vdc auxiliary power supply for applications requiring additional power, such as radios. Enable fast communications-assisted trip logic and communications functions through the SEL-patented Mirrored Bits^® communications technology that provides bidirectional relay-to-relay digital communications. The SEL-651R is certified to IEEE C37.60 standards and is a plug-compatible replacement for 14-pin reclosers.
