Bypass fat is known as calcium soap of long chain fatty acid is specially made for dairy ruminants(cows, goats and sheeps) for high milk-yielding. The ruminants need to be lactated due to high requirement of energy to produce more milk and to recover from birthing. An intensified energy feed is highly needed to be provided in their diet . Ruminants specific digestive system would not tolerate the presence of oil or specifically the triglycerides and glycerol in its the 1st stomach.
