Description
Zinc Chromate Primer is a solvent-based, anti corrosive alkyd zinc chromate protective primer for both interior and exterior ferrous metalwork. It is single pack and formulated from refined alkyd resin to provide easy and friendly application.
Recommend Use: Zinc Chromate Primer has excellent corrosion resistance and is widely use as conventional type primer for properly cleaned ferrous metalwork. Can be used on heated surface up to 93 deg. C. Care has to be taken not to apply more 60 microns per coat.

Application Details
Application Methods Brush, roller, air spray or airless spray.
Mixing ratio (by volume) The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring. For conventional air spray, 30% thinning with white spirit is recommended.
Thinner / cleaner White spirit.
Dry to touch 2 hours, depending on ambient temperature.
Dry to recoat 12 hours.
Theoretical spreading rate 10 -11 m2 / liter.
Practical spreading rate (depend surface porosity) 8 -9 m2 / liter(20% loss factor).
Wet film thickness 90 - 110 microns.
Dry film thickness 40 - 50 microns.
