OMNIKEY® standardized readers are connected via USB or serial cable to a desktop computer to be placed on the desk or to be attached to a monitor. They are equally suited for laptop usage.

For high-security applications that require PIN pad operations we offer smart card readers for two-way authentication. These are particularly suitable for digital signature applications with Common Criteria certified security level.

To secure laptops or other mobile devices with smart card technology we provide readers that can be connected via PCMCIA/ ExpressCard™ slot or USB interface.
