Grid Support Conditioners

The Grid Support Conditioner (GSC) is designed as a distributed generation system for grid systems which have unreliable utility supply. It is available in single or three phase models from 10 Kva to 250 kVa and can be thought of as a "Industrial grade solar UPS".

The GSC operates to supply a well conditioned voltage to a local load. It synchronises with the external utility AC sources to enhance system robustness. The GSC automatically configures as a standby AC source and can act independently as a phase by phase DC bus management system. It can also include an additional diesel generator if the supply cannot be maintained by the utility or renewable component.

In charging mode the system maintains the battery with a highly advanced algorithm always in accordance with manufacturer procedures, thus maximising the life of the battery bank.
