FMS Vises and Vise cubes

Of special interest to horizontal and vertical machining centers users FMS vises present the same building features of STD and XL vises, modular and the accessories (Hardened and Groung HRC60 steel contruction throughout).

Born to be installed on machining centres, FMS series of vises allow workholding with prefect alignement in a space saving design, extremenly high wear resistance, deflection reduced 2 times with respect to the STD modular vises (base thickness is doubled), possibility to clamp more pieces simultaneosuly with mechanic, hydraulic, pneumatic or electric devices. You can use them both for vertical and horizontal clamping without any price charge.

Jaw widths from 75 to 190mm. Grip any work lenght.

The feature (Pathented) which better identifies this range of vises consists in the possibility to transform each single vise (1 workpiece clamping) in a self-centering vise with the possibility to clamp from outside to inside and viceversa and also in a double vise through the simple substitution of the jaws on the universal vise body base. A simple and quick adjustment will then allow following clamping alternatives: single long workpiece, 2 shorter workpieces or to operate in the self-centering way.

All above suggests their use in the production of lots of highly different workpieces reducing set-up times and ensuring very accurate repetability of the workpiece position and precision, increasing the global efficiency of the production process.
