Floating Slab Track Rubber Bearings

Mass Transit Railway Systems are usually built underground or overhead in densely populated urban areas. The noise and vibration from the track system must be reduced to a minimum for the comfort of the people living and working in the surrounding areas. This can be achieved by inserting resilient rubber bearings between the base plate of the rails and the concrete sleepers. In addition, the whole trackworksare supported on rubber mountings to form a "floating track".
