Description
Coaxial cables were first invented in the year 1929; however they were only made commercially available by 1941. Back then, coaxial cables were made of copper, though the present day cables use a variety of other metals as well. The coaxial cables are specifically used for connecting purposes requiring cables to carry signals which are considered sensitive to RF fields. For this particular reason, these cables are generally used in wire cables and television systems.
