Description
In the pharmaceutical industry, clean rooms are the prerequisite for the manufacture and storage of ultra pure materials and modern, sterile dosage forms. In order that the health of a patient is not endangered by the taking or use of a product, contamination of the ingredients must be avoided at all cost.
For this reason the construction and operation of clean rooms is subject to particularly high standards. On one hand, contaminants must be kept to a minimum and on the other, cleanliness and quality parameters such as particle size, temperature, humidity, air flow and adherence to pressure levels must be measured, recorded and proven. To this end, monitoring systems must be used that have been validated in accordance with EUGMPGuidelines.
